In St. Tammany Parish Government, our motto is “Building Excellence.” All local governments continue working together in the interest of public safety and public good. Local businesses and governments have worked tirelessly to rebound from Katrina’s effects and to stimulate our economy. Public officials and citizens alike have strived to keep legislators at the state and federal level informed of our needs and our progress. And, as always, we’ve done our best to keep you up to date on our efforts. We work to better the quality of life in St. Tammany Parish through improved drainage and transportation, through recreation, conservation and cultural programs, and through a commitment from each parish employee to strive for excellence in his or her daily tasks.
