Statement by Parish President Kevin Davis. 

Many new citizens and visitors of St. Tammany need clarification regarding the mandatory evacuation. The evacuation area includes:

Southern low-lying area areas of the parish, drawing a line from Hwy 22 in Madisonville east to the Fremaux/Shorthcut Hwy in Slidell. If you are south of that line you have a mandatory evacuation order.
