COVINGTON THREE RIVERS ART FESTIVAL.  Outdoors, N. FT. ISABEL GALLERY “ALL SMALL GROUP SHOW”.  502 N. Columbia St.,  Covington. ROUX TO DO: THE ART OF COOKING IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA. Junior League of Covington is celebrating its 2nd birthday with the official Roux To Do Day. Junior League members will be at the Three Rivers Art Festival in Covington November 12-13th, or visit www.jlgc.net. SKYFIRE THEATRE: AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT.  Auditions for The Best of Shine Holiday Show.  Skyfire Theatre, 332 N. New Hampshire Street, Covington. Monday, Nov. 14, 6pm.  Skyfire Theatre is partnering with Shine Productions to produce a holiday showcase including scenes, skits, and songs.  Dancers, comedians, musicians, and singers are encouraged to audition.  Acts should be no more than 6 minutes in length.  Auditioners should bring sheet music.  An accompanist will be provided.  The Best of Shine Holiday Show performances will be held Dec. 2, 8, 9, 15, and 16, 8 pm and Saturday, Dec. 10, 5pm. THE 6TH ANNUAL ECCENTRIC CHRISTMAS WREATH EXHIBIT.  Bring wreaths to the UCM Museum, Abita Springs before Sunday, November 20. Also accepting this year: Eccentric Stump Decorations.  Starting Nov 20, museum visitors can vote for their favorite wreaths for several People's Choice Awards.  Winners will be announced at the party/auction Dec. 20. The wreaths can be viewed with admission to the UCM, 10-5 everyday, except major holidays. Proceeds from each wreath sold will go to a charity or nonprofit organization designated by either the wreath maker or the wreath buyer. Each wreath maker will choose a nonprofit group, or else designate his wreath be sold "Buyer's Choice."  Call (985) 892-2624.

CLASSES & TRAINING…

OPEN HOUSE FOR CREATIVE ARTS AT SKYFIRE THEATRE. 332 N. New Hampshire St., Covington. Wednesday, November 16, 6-8pm. Skyfire Productions Creative Arts at Skyfire Theatre, or C.A.S.T. begins January 6, 2006. Open House will be held Offering acting and/or vocal training for ages 7-18, for the talented young performers who are the stars of tomorrow.  A “Munchkin” theatre class will be offered ages 4-7. The program director is Rita Stockstill, who will also instruct along with Jennifer H. Patterson and Shawn Patterson.  The acting program presents all aspects of theatrics, including character development, vocal projection, stage presence, technical elements, improvisation and stage movement.
