ARTS & CULTURAL EVENTS –December 1- 8, 2005 UPDATE.

 

ST. TAMMANY PARISH GOVERNMENT & TAMMANY TRACE FOUNDATION PRESENT THE 6TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY OF LIGHTS. Tammany Trace Trailhead Caboose, 21490 Koop Dr., Mandeville.  Friday & Saturday, Dec 2, 3, 9, and 10. Papillion will entertain on Sat., Dec. 3. Area school choirs, musicians, violinists, and carolers will serenade visitors while Santa and carnival style rides entertain the children. Lights will remain on until Dec. 30, 5pm-8pm nightly. Free. SLIDELL SYMPHONY SOCIETY PRESENTS THE LOUISIANA PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA. Slidell High School Auditorium. Sunday, December 4, 2-6pm. A very special holiday event, the LPO presents “The Christmas Concert”. Admission:  Adults/$20, Children/$15. Call 643-1010.

SOUTHERN YOUTH BALLET PERFORMS SCENES FROM NUTCRACKER. St. Tammany Parish Library, Slidell Branch. Thursday, December 8, at 6:30pm. The Southern Youth Ballet will perform scenes from the Nutcracker. SKYFIRE THEATRE PRESENTS VOICES FROM THE STORM. 332 N. New Hampshire St., Covington.  On three consecutive Wednesdays, November 30, December 7 and 14, storm survivors and storytellers are invited to come to share and listen to the "Voices from the Storm".
