STATE OF EMERGENCY CONTINUED
 

            Parish President Kevin Davis has signed an executive order extending the State of Emergency another 30 days.

            Keeping the official State of Emergency in effect allows local governments to respond with greater ease to arising needs and changing conditions from hurricane recovery efforts.

            The existing executive order would have expired Jan. 21.
