Debris Only Please!
 

Only debris caused by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita is eligible for pick up by St. Tammany Parish for reimbursement by FEMA.  This is the only debris that parish contractors will remove from rights-of-way. 

Trees and vegetation which are the result of land clearing operations and/or property development for residential or commercial construction or similar operations are the responsibility of the land owner and/or developer as it pertains to disposal.   This type of debris should not be pushed to the right-of-way.  It may create a health and safety hazard.  The owner/developer should review and adhere to the parish ordinance as it pertains to non storm generated debris disposal. 

As St. Tammany Parish moves forward in rebuilding the parish and providing a safe environment, everyone’s assistance and cooperation with this rebuilding effort is greatly appreciated.
