Public Hearing on Zoning Proposal
Scheduled for October 30th 

The St. Tammany Parish Zoning Commission is scheduling another Special Meeting to hold a Public Hearing on the proposed re-write of the Parish Zoning Regulations.  The lack of a quorum at its Special Meeting on September 19, 2006, warranted the rescheduling.

“It is important that the entire Zoning Commission hear the comments of our citizen’s prior to making a recommendation to the Paris Council on such an important proposal,” said Parish President Kevin Davis. 

The adoption process will be as follows:  

October 30, 2006 – Special Public Hearing  

November 16, 2006 – Special Commission Meeting to Consider Amendments 

Due to re-scheduling written comments will be received by the Planning Staff through close of business on Friday October 6, 2006 

All meetings will be held at 6:00 pm in the Parish Council Chambers located at 21490 Koop Drive on Louisiana Highway 59 between Mandeville and Abita Springs.
