Kids Konnection Landscape Weekend Postponed
Volunteers to resume Nov. 9 -11. 

Kids Konnection organizers have postponed the landscaping workdays scheduled for this weekend.  Drainage issues and inclement weather have caused Kids Konnection to fall slightly behind schedule.  Site preparation will continue this week. Organizers have rescheduled the workdays until Thursday, November 9 through Saturday, November 11, 7am-4pm.  Only adult volunteers are needed during this time.  To volunteer please call 985-867-9490 to reserve a position.   

The Kids Landscape Day is rescheduled for November 11, 11am-2pm. The playground will not be ready for use at this time due to continuing construction.  Any children participating in the Landscape Day will need to have adult supervision.   

Kids Konnection intends to have the playground completed for the Grand Opening in conjunction with the Tammany Trace’s Holiday of Lights on December 1, 2006.
