President’s Arts Awards Airing on Access St. Tammany Channel 10 

            St. Tammany Parish President Kevin Davis held the 2^nd Annual President’s Arts Awards at the Louisiana Heart Hospital on October 13, 2006.  Access St. Tammany will be airing the awards show on Channel 10 for several weeks.

            The President’s Arts Awards honors artists and arts patrons who have contributed to our culture here in St. Tammany Parish.  The 2006 award winners include John Perkins, Lifetime Achievement Award; Skyfire Theatre, Arts Patron of the Year;

Christian Serpas, Musician of the Year; Nolan Lefort, Visual Artist of the Year; Denny Charbonnet, Performing Artist of the Year and Don Redman, Literary Arts Award. 

            The awards were sponsored by the St. Tammany Arts Commission.  Stephen B. Cefalu was the master of ceremonies.

            The 1-hour long show will air Wednesday, November 29 at 7:30pm and every Wednesday in December at 7:30pm.
