GOVERNMENT & TAMMANY TRACE FOUNDATION PRESENT 7th ANNUAL HOLIDAY OF
LIGHTS:
Location: Tammany
Trace Trailhead, 21490 Koop Dr, Hwy 59 north of I-12.

Decorations will be lit from dark – 8pm every day until January 2, 2007

Community-wide, family oriented event featuring over 40,000 holiday lights on 32
displays, 160 foot Christmas Tree constructed of lights, Tunnel of lights, 15

Louisiana Folklore Society
Meeting, March 9-10, 2007. "Community, Culture, and Carnival: Emerging and
Lasting Traditions". The Louisiana Folklore Society is seeking papers that deal
with the emergence of community, carnival, and expressive culture in Louisiana
in the re-building of the region. We are particularly interested in papers and
presentations that deal with carnival, in its many manifestations, across the
state, nation, and in global contexts. Please submit 250-word abstracts via
